Job summary

Multifab Inc in Spokane Valley, Washington is seeking a Mold Polishing Technician to polish, sand and support tooling and equipment in the manufacturing process. You will use hand held and power tools to prepare molds and related components, ensuring quality per customer specifications.

Responsibilities include mold preparation, inspection, packaging, inventory support, and operating forklift or pallet jack when moving parts; familiarity with Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

Description:

Summary

The Mold Polishing Technician is responsible for using hand held and power tools for a variety of different mediums; specifically, for polishing, sanding and supporting the manufacturing process by maintaining and preparing tooling or equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Mold Preparation

• Polish /prepare mold cavities and components
• Inspect parts for quality per customer requirements
• Wrap and package parts for shipping
• Participate in inventory counts, as needed
• Use computer to locate, enter and update information (Microsoft Excel)
• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack to move parts
• Other duties as assigned

Shop Duties

• Assist machinists with mold component production
• Materials handling and preparation for machining operations using pallet jacks and fork lifts
• Monitor and assist maintaining inventory of purchased mold components, hardware, and raw material
• Ensure work assignments are carried out to the highest quality ensuring customer quality and company needs are met

Requirements
