Job summary

Applied Medical is seeking a Mold Polisher to support our manufacturing operations by finishing and refining mold components used in high precision medical devices. You will polish components per engineering drawings, inspect for dimensional accuracy, and collaborate with tooling, engineering, and quality teams to ensure molds meet exact specifications and regulatory standards.

Two or more years of mold polishing or precision surface finishing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Polish mold components following engineering drawings and finish requirements.
• Two or more years of work experience related to mold polishing or precision surface finishing.
• Proven ability to follow engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and surface finish specifications.
• Working knowledge of quality system regulations and ISO standards, SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship and quality.

Responsibilities

• Polish mold components in accordance with drawings and surface finish requirements.
• Inspect polished components to verify dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Follow ISO standards, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain tooling quality by identifying surface defects and escalating issues.
• Collaborate with tooling, manufacturing, and quality teams to support mold builds and repairs.
• Meet production schedules while upholding quality and documentation.
