Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience in mold making, tool & die, or related field.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, CAD designs, and precision measurement tools.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC operation, and manual tooling.
• Able to troubleshoot mold defects and perform repairs efficiently.
• Apprenticeship or certification in Mold Making, Tool & Die, or related trade preferred.
• Experience with injection molding, compression molding, or die-casting molds.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Mastercam or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Mold Fabrication & Assembly: Manufacture, assemble, and modify molds using milling, grinding, drilling, and EDM.
• Mold Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair worn or damaged molds to maintain production.
• Machining & Tooling: Operate CNC machines, lathes, grinders to fabricate mold components.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Inspect molds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
• Additional Responsibilities: Opportunity to learn diamond turning and work in various areas as needed.
