Roembke Mfg & Design Inc. is seeking a Technician responsible for operating lathes, grinders, milling machines, and drill presses to produce precision mold components.

You will perform in-process measurements, read prints, calculate feeds and speeds, and select tooling to ensure parts meet tolerances. You will also help train operators, write procedures, maintain a safe workspace, and seek continuous improvement in processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic knowledge and aptitude for working with machines.
• Ability to read and understand English and perform basic math.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate lathes, grinders, milling machines, and drill presses to produce precise components.
• Perform basic maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Read prints, calculate feeds and speeds, select proper tooling, and plan the sequence of material removal.
• Understand the properties of materials used in mold production and maintain tight tolerances.
• Measure components accurately for precision.
• Utilize programming software specific to machinery used.
• Write procedures and fill out process guides as required.
• Assist and train machine operators and new or transferred Technicians.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment and promote safety awareness.
• Seek continuous improvement in processes and contribute to process improvements.
• Other duties associated with primary job function.
