Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Machine Maintenance technician to inspect and repair molding machines, perform preventive maintenance, and support the Molding Machine Maintenance team. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and technical training is a plus; candidate should be mechanically inclined, a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade School, Technical, or Mechanical certificate a plus.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Self-starter with eagerness to learn and take initiative.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair molding machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures as specified.
• Complete work assigned by Manager or Lead.
• Communicate activities with Manager and other department members.
• Maintain neat and orderly appearance of plant and molding machines.
• Assist in other departments as requested by Manager or Lead.
• Seek training to stay current with job requirements.
• Assume control of machine when a situation arises with potential for personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.
• Responsibilities and Authority include assuring compliance with federal, state, government and/or any appropriate regulatory law or guidelines
