Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Tool Maker Apprentice to learn to build, repair, and maintain precision plastic injection molds within NyproMold operations in Clinton, MA. You will work under experienced toolmakers, gaining hands-on experience in standard production processes, safety practices, and quality requirements while contributing to operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes reading blueprints, operating mills/grinders, and measuring components with precision tools, with opportunities for skill

Qualifications

Enrollment in or completion of a vocational/technical program in machining, manufacturing, or a related field preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
Ability to read basic technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Assist in the manufacturing, assembly, and repair of molds
Learn to read and interpret blueprints
Operate manual mills and surface grinders
Measure and inspect components using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, indicators)
Support troubleshooting and maintenance of existing tooling
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Participate in training programs and skill development activities
May perform other duties as assigned
