Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Machine Operator.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve simple mathematical equations involving percentages.
• Able to work in a cold or warm environment, depending on line and machine.
• Capable of heavy lifting and extensive movement.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely and efficiently during setup, troubleshooting and breakdown.
• Set up, start-up and break down at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Troubleshoot to minimize production downtime.
• Adjust machines to maximize efficiency and communicate improvements to team.
• Identify mechanical issues to prevent downtime and report to Leads or Supervisors.
• May operate other equipment in the production process.
• Follow GMPs at all times during production.
