Job summary

Graywolf is seeking Precision Millwrights for our Iva, SC site. The project runs until August 2027, with per-diem eligibility for travel beyond 60 miles and seven-days-a-week pay. The role requires extensive heavy industrial experience, blueprints/schematics literacy, and turbine experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include laser alignment, rigging, bearing maintenance, seals, gears, and pumps. Candidates must meet pre-hire requirements and bring a locking toolbox and tools.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum heavy industrial field experience as a Mechanical Millwright, at least one year as a Precision Millwright, and five years experience with steam turbine systems.
• NCCER certification preferred (written or verified).
• Must have locking toolbox and tools necessary to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Laser alignment using laser systems and recording placements.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
• Safely identify and use rigging equipment.
• Identify and install fasteners, anchors, gaskets, and O-rings.
• Remove and install bearings; use heat to aid removal.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pumps, gearboxes, and turbines.
• Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes and outdoor conditions.
