Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a skilled Millwright for a project in Winterville, GA. The role involves reading blueprints, dismantling machines, moving equipment, and installing foundations in accordance with manufacturer drawings.

You will use hoists, rigging, hand tools, and precision measurement tools to align and commission machinery. Safety and quality processes are essential, with benefits/PTO after 3 months and regular travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprint and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Dismantles machines, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools.
• Moves machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
• Constructs foundation for machines, using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement and steel.
• Aligns machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Unload, inspect and move equipment, using rigging, hoisting devices, chain falls and hydraulic-lift trucks or gantry overhead cranes.
