Job summary

MEI is seeking a Precision Millwright for full-time field operations in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on assembly, installation, alignment, and maintenance of heavy machinery, with relocation support and on-site troubleshooting.

You will use hoists, lifts, and precision tools to install and align equipment, construct foundations, and replace worn components while following safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years Millwright experience or comparable field experience.
• Valid Driver’s License or ability to attain.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
• Able to supervise others and manage time efficiently for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Installs and maintains machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
• Aligns machines and equipment using precision instruments to set specified clearances.
• Dismantles machinery for shipment and installs at site as part of a team.
• Constructs foundations for machines using basic materials and tools.
• Fabricates, sets up, and repairs rigging and supporting structures; ensures safety.
