Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a maintenance technician to perform reactive and preventative maintenance on precision manufacturing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, ability to read diagrams, and experience with industrial controls. You’ll work independently and with teams, following SOPs and safety rules while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial control systems.
• Welding and fabrication skills for modifying equipment.
• PLC’s, VFD’s and computers experience.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings/diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Services, repairs, adjusts and tests manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with machine troubleshooting and operation support.
• Support preventative maintenance planning and tasks.
• Identify signs of impending equipment failure and parts needs.
• Operate and maintain test equipment and safety procedures.
• Document process improvements and training as needed.
• Follow SOPs and complete housekeeping duties.
