Job summary

MetalStorm Inc. in De Pere, WI seeks an experienced welder/fabricator to join our team. You will read customer drawings, weld with MIG/TIG, and finish parts per specifications while maintaining quality and precision.

The role requires reading blueprints, tape measures, and calipers, with a focus on speed and accuracy. HS diploma preferred; lifting up to 50 lbs; safety gear must be worn where required.

Qualifications

• Must have welding/fabricating experience.
• Food grade polishing experience is a plus.
• At least 1 year of blueprint reading (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Utilize MIG and/or TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Finish parts per spec on print or lead’s instruction.
• Read and interpret customer drawings.
• Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
• Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.
• Follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.
• Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.
