Job summary

Teledyne HiRel is seeking a Microelectronics Manufacturing Assembler to join a team ensuring precision and reliability in microelectronic components for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. You will assemble hybrid circuits and integrated circuits with accuracy, interpret blueprints, and operate die attach systems and automated wire bonders.

As part of the role, you will maintain cleanroom standards, follow ESD protocols, and ensure strict adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in fine-pitch soldering and component placement.
• Experience with substrate technologies (thick/thin film).
• Familiarity with epoxy dispensing and curing.
• 2–4 years in microelectronic assembly or semiconductor manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict protocols.
• Must be a U.S. person due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble microelectronic components with exceptional accuracy.
• Perform die attach, wire bonding, and surface-mount assembly under magnification.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly.
• Operate specialized equipment including automated wire bonders and die attach systems.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and contamination control procedures.
• Follow ESD protocols to protect sensitive components.
