Job summary

Teledyne HiRel is seeking a Microelectronics Manufacturing Assembler in Lewisburg, TN to join a team delivering precision microelectronic solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets.

You will read blueprints, operate specialized equipment like wire bonders, and maintain strict cleanroom and ESD protocols to ensure reliability of every component.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics/microelectronics preferred.
  • 2–4 years in microelectronic assembly or semiconductor manufacturing required.
  • Must be a U.S. person due to ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble microelectronic components such as hybrid circuits and integrated circuits with high accuracy.
  • Perform die attach, wire bonding (ball, wedge, ribbon), and surface-mount assembly under magnification.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and drawings to guide assembly processes.
  • Operate automated wire bonders and eutectic die attach systems.
  • Maintain cleanroom standards and contamination control procedures.
  • Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols to protect sensitive components.

Job Description

As a Microelectronics Manufacturing Assembler at Teledyne HiRel, you’ll be part of a team that designs and manufactures advanced microelectronic solutions for mission‑critical applications in aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Your role will ensure precision and reliability in every component we deliver.

What You’ll Do
  • Assemble microelectronic components such as hybrid circuits and integrated circuits with exceptional accuracy.
  • Perform die attach, wire bonding (ball, wedge, ribbon), and surface‑mount assembly under magnification.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes.
  • Operate specialized equipment including automated wire bonders and eutectic die attach systems.
  • Maintain cleanroom standards and contamination control procedures.
  • Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols to protect sensitive components.
What You Need
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail – required.
  • Proficiency in fine‑pitch soldering and component placement – required.
  • Experience with substrate technologies (thick/thin film) – preferred.
  • Familiarity with epoxy dispensing and curing – preferred.
  • 2–4 years in microelectronic assembly or semiconductor manufacturing – required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electronics/microelectronics – preferred.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow strict protocols – required.
  • Must be a U.S. person due to ITAR requirements – required.
