Job summary

Quality Metrology Technician in Sallisaw, OK is sought by a growing manufacturing organization to support metrology, dimensional inspection, calibration control, and advanced testing processes while ensuring products meet engineering and customer specifications.

You will perform dimensional inspections with precision tools, interpret drawings, and document results, maintaining measurement device inventories.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, metrology or related environment.
Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and other inspection tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record inspection results.
Basic computer skills and ability to work independently after training.

Responsibilities

Perform dimensional inspections on parts and products using precision measuring equipment.
Conduct first-piece, in-process, final, and incoming inspections to verify product quality.
Operate and support metrology and testing equipment including CMMs, X-ray systems, spectrometers, and cleanliness testing equipment.
Maintain gauge control systems, calibration records, and measurement device inventories.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, control plans, and work instructions.
Document inspection results, identify nonconforming products, and communicate findings to Quality and Production teams.
