Job summary

Plansee Franklin seeks a meticulous quality inspector to join the team shaping high‑temp metals. You’ll perform first‑piece checks, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet drawings and QA standards on every shift.

You’ll capture electronic inspection reports, maintain traceability, and complete non‑conforming material reports, travelers and control charts. Zeiss CMMs with Calypso and AS9100 experience are a plus; ITAR compliance required for U.S. work.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting machining and fabrication drawings with GD&T.
• Proven experience in first article and in-process inspection.
• Familiarity with quality documentation and traceability.
• AS9100/AS9102 knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece and first-article inspections to establish quality baselines.
• Conduct in‑process and final inspections ensuring parts meet drawings and specs.
• Capture and store electronic inspection reports with traceability.
• Complete quality documentation including non-conforming material reports and control charts.
• Verify gauges and CMM calibration per company requirements.
