Job summary

Plansee USA LLC, Franklin, USA, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to transform molybdenum and tungsten parts with precision. The role covers interpreting drawings, GD&T, and multi-axis setups on high-end CNC machines, producing complex components and non-routine parts.

Proficiency with Okuma/Fanuc controls, setting up jobs, editing programs, and using precision measuring instruments (CMM, optical comparators) is required. Team player with strong attention to detail will thrive here.

Qualifications

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3 certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Able to edit simple programs as needed.
• Proficient with measuring instruments from hand tools to CMM.

Responsibilities

• Studies orders, blueprints, specs and GD&T to plan machining.
• Sets up and programs complex parts, edits programs as needed.
• Machines surfaces at unusual/compound angles and threads.
• Performs shop-floor CNC programming, multiple setups and first-run debugging.
