Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. in Kentucky seeks a production operator to run stamping presses and packaging lines, ensuring safety, quality, and precise production reporting.

You will meet daily production goals, report equipment malfunctions, assist mechanics, feed materials into dies, inspect finished parts, and complete shift paperwork. Attendance and overtime readiness are essential to support continuous operations.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Up to 1 year related experience and/or training preferred.
• Able to perform basic math including proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Able to read and understand prints and schematics.
• Able to use small hand-power tools and read a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments.
• Able to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes.
• Meet and/or exceed daily production goals.
• Report all machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.
• Assist mechanics whenever required to keep press/packaging equipment operational.
• Feed slit ribbon material into stamping dies and perform first piece inspection.
