Acme Metal Spinning Inc is seeking a skilled Metal Spinner in Minneapolis, MN. This hands-on manufacturing role focuses on forming metal blanks into finished components with precision and craftsmanship.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, operate manual and CNC lathes, set up fixtures, and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers. Maintain a safe, organized work area and collaborate to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in metal spinning or related manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and CNC metal spinning lathes to form metal blanks into finished components.
• Set up tooling, mandrels, and fixtures for each job.
• Read blueprints and work orders to meet specifications.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers and micrometers for dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area per shop standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to meet schedules and quality goals.
