Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand engineering documents and shop travelers.
• Ability to layout and load materials using basic math and hand tools like tape measures and calipers.
• Ability to adjust and correct machine set-ups to meet specifications and reduce defects.
• Knowledge to maintain the machine in good working order.
• Understanding of finished part characteristics.
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures.
• Knowledge of safe machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines and maintain continuous workflow through adherence to documented processes.
• Produce parts using the top-down production list.
• Assist with daily PM schedule for machine, manuals and procedures.
• Perform first part inspections and in-process quality checks.
