Job summary

MacLean-Fogg Company in Savanna, IL, is seeking an hourly, full-time machine setup technician for our Savanna facility. You will set up tooling, perform changeovers on horizontal forging machines, and run production to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will read blueprints, measure with micrometers/calipers, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain 5S at your station while documenting production and quality data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Industrial manufacturing background preferred.
• Steady attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling and execute changeovers on horizontal forging machines.
• Run production and monitor part quality against specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and verify with micrometers, calipers and gauges.
• Complete all production and quality documentation accurately.
