Job summary

Acumed LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., seeks a Finishing Technician for second shift to perform tumbling, deburring, polishing, and assembly of titanium, aluminum, stainless metals, and plastics. Responsibilities include following SOPs, basic blueprint reading, maintaining DI water systems, and timely completion of finishing projects.

The role requires attention to quality, safety, and documentation, with hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience in metal finishing (hand and machine) and media blasting preferred.
Experience with machine operation preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination, and detail-oriented.
Basic math skills.
Self-motivated and able to work under general supervision in a team environment.
Comfortable with documenting data and using SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs and WIs to complete operations on time.
Read basic blueprints for anodization and assembly operations.
Monitor and maintain DI water system during anodization.
Maintain fixturing and assist with design/development as needed.
Maintain high quality standards as measured by NCMR and other metrics.
Support in action and attitude toward customer service, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
