Acumed is seeking a Finishing Technician in Hillsboro, OR, for the second shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM). You will perform tumbling, deburring, polishing, buffing, blasting, welding, anodizing, and assembly on titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics, following SOPs to ensure quality and patient safety.

You will also manage DI water systems, assist with fixture design, and document processes in SAP, contributing to lean practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Metal finishing experience and media blasting preferred.
• Experience with machine operation preferred.
• Basic math, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Able to maintain good attendance and reliability.

Responsabilités

• Follow SOPs and work instructions to complete operations on time.
• Read basic blueprints (anodization and assembly).
• Monitor DI water system during anodization.
• Maintain fixturing and assist in tooling design as needed.
• Meet quality, productivity, and safety goals as directed by supervision.
• Record data and input times in SAP and other systems.
• Perform finishing tasks including tumbling, deburring, polishing, buffing, and assembly.
