Job summary

Winholt Equipment Corporation seeks a dedicated finisher to grind, polish, and prepare stainless steel and aluminum parts for final delivery. The role includes assembly tasks, labeling, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include using grinders, files, buffing wheels, and sanders; maintaining clean work areas; and coordinating with team to boost productivity while meeting OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must listen, read, write and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to bend, kneel and squat frequently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
• Wear PPE including safety glasses, face shields, gloves, hardhat, dust masks.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Experience with power/hand tools like die grinders, angle grinders, file, hammer.
• Reliable and able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Finish or polish stainless steel and aluminum parts using grinders, files, buffing wheels and sanders.
• Perform final assembly operations including wheel/caster or adjustable feet installation.
• Label products and prepare for shipment.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Assemble items as directed by supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and equipment well maintained.
• Follow company rules and policies.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and task focus.
• Uphold OSHA standards relevant to duties.
• Collaborate with department team to maximize productivity.
