Job summary

Marlen, based in Riverside, MO, seeks a fabricator to build stainless steel food-processing equipment using fabrication methods and blueprint knowledge. You will manage project time, perform routine equipment maintenance, and communicate findings to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include operating equipment safely, interpreting blueprints, programming presses, and troubleshooting production challenges, with overtime as needed. Join a team with strong growth and community values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / Equivalency preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in metal fabrication; Laser experience required.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Computer experience.
• Learns quickly when facing new problems; open to change; strives for continuous improvement of self and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas.
• Must be able to work overtime including some weekends when workload requires this.

Responsibilities

• Operates manufacturing equipment and uses safe work habits.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Measure and verify dimensions with measuring devices.
• Identify, retrieve, and install the required punch/die based on bend radius and material thickness.
• Program press brake steps and control tonnage/angle positioning.
• Safely operate a press brake from various manufacturers.
• Have knowledge of CNC laser cutting and other production machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication challenges.
• Communicate potential problems to lead or supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with quality/safety rules.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements.
