Qualifications

• 3–5 years of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
• 3–5 years of blueprint reading experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates welding equipment to fuse metal portions of stainless steel food processing machinery.
• Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Plans layout and alignment using calipers and rulers; verifies fit before assembly.
• Monitors welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, or distortion of parts.
• Communicates potential problems to lead or manager and supports on-time completion.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and complies with quality and safety rules.
• Performs routine maintenance and assists with other tasks as needed.
