Job summary

Marlen International, a global designer and manufacturer of advanced food processing equipment, is seeking a fabricator to build stainless steel machinery. The role requires reading blueprints, measuring tolerances, and operating CNC laser cutting and press brakes with a strong safety focus.

Applicants should have a High School diploma and 5 years of metal fabrication experience, plus good communication skills and readiness for overtime.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Measure and verify dimensions using calipers, tape measure, and other tools.
• Operate a press brake and laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply fabrication mathematics and tolerance checks in production.
• Proactively troubleshoot fabrication issues and communicate with the lead.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment following safety guidelines.
• Interpret blueprints and work orders; ensure correct parts and tolerances.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and assist with maintenance when needed.
• Expected to work overtime or weekends based on workload.
