Job summary

nVent is hiring for an on-site assembler to construct and install metal building components, read and interpret blueprints, and maintain quality and safety standards on the production floor.

The role requires familiarity with hand and power tools, the ability to lift and maneuver materials up to 50 lbs, and strong teamwork to meet production schedules. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with prior experience in related trades highly valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience in construction, carpentry, drywall, insulation or related hands-on trade.
• Ability to operate small tools, grinders and drills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install metal building structures and components as per specifications.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure accuracy.
• Safely operate forklifts, lifts, and other material handling equipment.
