Job summary

nVent is seeking a Builder to join our team on the shop floor, performing assembly of metal products for modular buildings and equipment enclosures. The role involves reading simple drawings, measuring parts, and assembling components using bolts, screws, clips and rivets under clear direction.

Working hours are 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with up to 10 hours on Fridays. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months related experience acceptable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read taped measurements and follow basic drawings.
• Able to fasten metal products using bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or similar fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal products according to assembly sequence with supervision.
• Position and align parts following drawings and measurements.
• Read and apply basic construction principles (square, level, plumb).
• Fasten components with appropriate hardware; assist with repairs and rework as needed.
• Support a positive team environment and focus on customer satisfaction.
