Chromalox is seeking a production machinist to set up and operate automatic or manual production machines, cut sheet metal, and manage forming or bending operations according to blueprints and specifications.

You will read blueprints, select and align tooling, set machine speeds and checks, and perform inspections to ensure parts meet drawings. The role requires accurate measurement and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, work orders, instructions, diagrams and safety rules.
• Experience using measuring devices to meet drawing dimensions and specifications.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup and sequence of operation.
• Selects, positions, and secures dies, blades, cutters, and fixtures.
• Sets machine parameters such as pressure, blade angle, and speed.
• Marks bending or cutting lines and reference points on workpieces.
• Starts machine and monitors operation, adjusting as needed for multiple passes.
• Inspects finished work using gauges and templates.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on machines.
