Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a production machinist in Utah to set up and operate automatic or manual production equipment, cut sheet metal, and run annealing equipment according to blueprints.

You will read and interpret blueprints, select tooling, adjust machine settings, and inspect parts. You will perform preventive maintenance and work with a team to improve quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Proficient use of measuring devices to verify dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic or manual production machines.
• Cut sheet metal and run annealing/brazing operations per blueprints.
• Adjust controls, select tools, and position dies and fixtures.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications and measure using gauges.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor machines for TPM.
• Collaborate with team to improve quality and efficiency.
