You will measure and verify dimensions with micrometers and gauges, inspect for defects, read work orders, adjust settings, and record operational data while maintaining equipment and pursuing quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in a production role.
• Experience with measuring devices and reading work orders.
• Ability to pass a physical exam for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Reliable worker with strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Measure and verify product dimensions using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and rulers.
• Inspect finished products for defects such as chips or marred surfaces.
• Read work orders to determine material specs, cutting lines, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Set up, operate, and tend the Cut to Length machine.
• Start machines, monitor operations, and document data.
• Adjust machine speeds or actions to match specs using gauges and hand tools.
• Clean and lubricate machines regularly.
• Position products against fixtures or stops on machine beds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
