Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years in a production process
• Proficiency in using measuring devices and basic reading of work orders
• Ability to pass physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Demonstrated reliability and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tend the Cut to Length machine
• Measure and verify products using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers
• Inspect finished products for defects and sort by type
• Read work orders to determine material specs, dimensions, and tolerances
• Document operational data and monitor machine performance
• Adjust machine speeds and actions to match product specs
• Maintain and lubricate equipment regularly
• Position products against fixtures on machine beds
• Perform other duties as assigned
