Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Quality Operations Technician for the Metal Case Assembly to ensure adherence to quality standards, perform assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging of products in a production environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and teamwork. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, experience with small hand tools, and the ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience using small hand tools preferred.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of metal cases including insertion of rivets, brackets, and miscellaneous hardware.
• Testing, inspection, and packaging of product.
• Metal finishing, prototype running, and other metal case production work.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
