Job summary

Anchor Fabrication, LLC is seeking an Assembler 1 in Denton, TX. The role involves operating machines to build metal parts, perform minor assembly, inspection, and packing to meet drawings and instructions.

Applicants should be mechanically adept, detail-oriented, and able to read precision instruments, with experience in metal fabrication preferred. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Experience in using hand and/or powered machines.
• Experience in a metal fabrication area a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and align work piece against fixtures and stops and activate machine.
• Observe operation of the machine to ensure proper function.
• Inspect parts and ensure they conform to blueprint or operator instructions.
• Maintain production count and monitor SPC control charts.
• Maintain machine and tools for good operating condition.
• Clean excess grease, oil, dirt, dust and remove scrap as required.
• Complete any necessary documentation.
• Meet Efficiency Standards.
• Meet Housekeeping and 5S Standards.
• Report non-conforming product.
