Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Denton, TX is seeking a skilled Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. You will operate and maintain punch/laser equipment, set up NC punch machines per customer specs, and calibrate tools with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Proficiency with precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Experience with programming and operating CNC machines.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
• Lathe operations a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with 1 year NC Punch Operator III experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery and equipment per procedures.
• Set up NC punch machine per customer specifications (dimensions, tolerances, spacing).
• Install punches and adjust height; configure settings on control console.
• Place tools in specified stations; locate dies and clamps; verify locations with calipers.
• Run test patterns to verify setup; inspect parts per blueprint; maintain production counts and SPC charts.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work environment.
