Job summary

Merrimack Manufacturing, a medical device producer in the Manchester Millyard, seeks a Manufacturing Technician with strong attention to detail to maintain equipment, support preventive and reactive maintenance, and collaborate across teams. You will assemble components, operate precision tools, and document results per procedures and GMP standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in manufacturing, experience with mechanical/electrical device assembly, and excellent communication

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years hands-on manufacturing experience.
  • Experience assembling, testing and documenting mechanical/electrical devices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices per procedures.
  • Use hand tools, presses, fixtures, measurement equipment and microscopes.
  • Document results using BOMs, work orders and drawings.
  • Perform soldering, crimping, bonding and related assembly tasks as needed.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety and GMP requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers and line leads to resolve issues and improve processes.
