Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Special Processes Technician for our Mentor, OH facility on the 1st shift. You will finish precision machined medical devices per customer specs, performing laser etching, cleaning, blasting, tumbling and passivation while maintaining 5S and safety standards.

You will read specs, follow SOPs, and use measuring tools to ensure tolerances. Experience with VLM software, blueprints, and basic CNC concepts is preferred, along with basic computer skills and office software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related industry experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow specification sheets.
• Basic mathematical skills to understand tolerances and variation.
• Basic understanding of CNC concepts laser parameters.
• Experience using diagrams or blueprints and following written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOPs, GMPs, GDPs.
• Laser etching tasks and mastery of Visual Laser Marker software (VLM).
• Perform ultrasonic cleaning, blasting, tumbling, and passivation.
• Assemble components, box products, and apply labeling materials.
• Follow safety rules and 5S expectations in the work area.
• Meet company and area performance expectations and quotas.
• Quality check finished products and escalate unsatisfactory items for rework.
