Job summary

Avalign Technologies Inc. is seeking a Special Processes Technician to finish precision machined medical devices at our Mentor, OH facility on 1st shift. You will perform laser etching, cleaning, passivation, assembly, and labeling while adhering to SOPs, GMPs, and 5S standards.

Strong reading of specifications and basic CNC concepts are required, along with safe production practices and quality checks. Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma with 1–3 months of related experience,

Qualifications

• : High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related industry experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• : Ability to read, understand and follow Specification Sheets.
• : Basic mathematical skills to understand tolerances and variation.
• : Basic understanding of CNC concepts laser & parameters.
• : Experience using diagrams or blueprints and to follow other written or verbal instructions.
• : Ability to use measuring devices and hand tools.
• : Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools.
• : Excellent vision & hand-eye coordination.
• : Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and meet quality and quantity quotas.
• : Able to quality check finished product and suggest sending unsatisfactory items to rework.
• : Proven experience with safe production standards.
• : Computer programming literacy (visual/basic script).
• : Fluency with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word).
• : Knowledge of fixture concepts.

Responsibilities

• Follow all SOP's, GMP's, GDP's.
• Laser Etching.
• Mastery of Visual Laser Marker software (VLM).
• Ultrasonic cleaning.
• Blasting.
• Tumbling.
• Passivation.
• Assemble Components.
• Box products & apply labeling materials.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Follow area 5S expectations.
• Meet all company and area expectations.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
