Job summary

Globus Medical, including Branch Medical Group, is seeking a Finishing Operator in Montgomery County, PA to visually inspect, deburr, clean, tumble and polish small machined components used in spinal and orthopedic implants. The Finishing job family includes two levels; the role requires attention to detail, ability to work under a microscope, manual dexterity and reliable teamwork.

You will document inspections and follow all procedures including blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under a microscope.
• Read part drawings with good manual dexterity.
• Organized and reliable team player with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Visual inspections of machined components using stereo microscope.
• Deburr, clean, tumble, and finish sub-components following procedures.
• Use hand tools and automatic equipment to deburr, tumble, blast and clean; hand blast as needed.
• Document quality inspections and complete inspection sheets.
• Escalate problems to the Finishing Manager.
• Follow blueprints, traveler, work instructions and process specifications.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and company policies; maintain compliance.
