Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment (torque wrenches, hand tools, power supplies, meters, fixtures).
• Familiarity with GMP environment; reading Bills of Materials, schematics, and machine/assembly drawings.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision with a high degree of organizational and technical competence.
• Experience working for a medical device manufacturer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects machined components using stereo-microscope.
• Measures and inspects medical device products in accordance with manufacturing specifications.
• Assembles sub-components into finished assemblies following established procedures.
• Utilizes hand tools including deburring knives, files, and pneumatic tools to remove burrs and assemble parts.
• Visually inspects using illumination devices and microscope to verify deburring quality.
• Escalates problems/issues to the Assembly Supervisor.
• Completes quality documentation and inspection sheets accurately.
• Adheres to 5S, Lean, GMPs, and company directives daily.
