Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years mechanical inspection or machining experience.
• Proficient with complex set-ups for part inspection and blueprints.
• Familiar with AS9100 quality management system.
• Ability to follow written instructions with minimal supervision.
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing knowledge per ANSI Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspection of first article, in-process and final parts.
• Verify materials, processes, and sub-tier certifications.
• Complete AS9100 quality paperwork and records.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauge, optical comparator for measurements.
• Operate manual and programmable CMM for precision measurements.
• Maintain clean work area and proper tool handling.
• Assist in training other inspectors.
• Calibrate inspection tools and enforce quality procedures.
