Voxel Innovations Inc. is seeking a Precision Mechanical Engineer to design advanced manufacturing machines, fixtures, tooling, and production systems with tight tolerances and high repeatability.

You will work across machine structures, motion systems, tooling, sheet-metal parts, and precision assemblies while collaborating with process, electrical, and controls teams. You will contribute from concept through CAD, drawings, BOMs, and vendor coordination, while improving design standards and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional mechanical design experience.
• Design real mechanical systems, not just parts.
• Experience with tight tolerances and single-digit micron precision.
• Create and review drawings, BOMs, and released design packages.
• Knowledge of motion components (linear guides, bearings, actuators, encoders, sensors).

Responsibilities

• Design machines, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical systems meeting accuracy and repeatability.
• Develop concepts from rough requirements through release and build support.
• Own portions of a design from concept to CAD, BOMs, and procurement support.
• Analyze stiffness, thermal effects, vibration, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with process, electrical, controls, machinists, and vendors.
• Support assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting, and testing.
