Job summary

Voxel Innovations Inc. seeks a motivated CNC Machinist to learn setup, operation, and inspection of tight-tolerance parts for our advanced manufacturing process. This role offers mentorship from senior team members and hands-on experience to build skills in CNC machining and programming.

You will work with Okuma mills and lathes, improving accuracy and contributing to aerospace and medical projects. This role emphasizes safety, precision, and career growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CNC machining experience or completion of a vocational/trade program.
• Ability to read prints and understand GD&T requirements.
• Experience making tight-tolerance metal parts and inspecting your own work.
• Willingness to learn up to 5-axis machining and programming.
• Must be a U.S. person due to export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes, primarily Okuma equipment.
• Run existing CNC programs and prove out setups safely.
• Load tooling, prepare stock, indicate parts, set work offsets, and verify setup conditions.
• Make offsets, tool changes, and minor machine adjustments under supervision.
• Inspect using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gages, and surface plates.
