Job summary

Voxel Innovations Inc. seeks a CNC Machinist to learn setup, operation, and inspection of tight-tolerance parts within our PECM-focused advanced manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes hands-on mentorship to develop skills from setup to potentially programming parts from scratch.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, precise, and collaborative, with a desire to grow into higher-axis work and advanced metrology while contributing to aerospace, energy, and healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of CNC machining experience or completion of a machining program.
• Ability to read prints and understand GD&T requirements.
• Experience making tight-tolerance metal parts and inspecting your own work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes (Okuma today).
• Run existing CNC programs and prove out setups safely.
• Load tooling, set offsets, and verify setup conditions.
• Support 3-axis machining and grow toward 4th/5th axis work.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using basic tools.
• Keep machines, tooling, and work areas clean and safe.
