Stellant Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mechancial Assembler to build sub-assemblies for traveling wave tubes at our Torrance, CA facility.

This full-time hourly position emphasizes precise mechanical assembly, adherence to process instructions, and operating various hand tools and fixtures on first shift. You will follow detailed procedures, work with clean room controls when required, and ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of operations or manufacturing-related experience; prior precision mechanical assembly preferred.
• Experience working in a clean room is helpful.

Mansioni

• Perform basic mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies and related components.
• Set up and operate assembly and process equipment to manufacture and finalize TWTs.
• Work in clean room conditions as required.
• Use computerized equipment to input, retrieve and analyze information.
• Obtain required certifications as needed by the department.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and ensure handwritten entries are legible and stamped.
• Adjust and perform related duties to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Maintain regular attendance and clock in/out of work orders.
