Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or similar
• Ability to correctly use a torque wrench and follow torque sequences
• Knowledge of proper fastener installation practices incl. anti-seize and thread locker
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions
• Ability to use standard measuring tools (tape measure, calipers) accurately
• Strong attention to detail in both hands-on work and documentation
• Forklift experience required
• Basic hand and power tool proficiency
• Ability to work independently while following procedures
• Must lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk most of shift
• Training in torque application or fastener assembly
• Experience with crating/packaging for shipment
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products per engineering drawings and BOMs
• Install hardware to specified torque using calibrated tools
• Follow torque sequences to ensure proper load distribution
• Apply anti-seize and thread locker per instructions
• Read blueprints to determine fastener locations and torque needs
• Perform final cleaning and cosmetic finishing per quality standards
• Package and crate finished products for shipment
• Safely lift, handle, and rig components with forklift or crane
• Maintain torque logs, inspection checklists, and traveler paperwork
• Inspect finished work against drawings before release
• Identify discrepancies and report to supervision
