ABTech, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build, test, troubleshoot, and improve complex assemblies in a hands-on shop environment.

Interpret drawings, perform precision assembly, and conduct functional testing to ensure products meet strict specifications. Opportunity to contribute to prototyping, inspection, and process improvements while growing in a high-precision manufacturing setting.

Formación

• Must read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and assembly docs.
• Experience with precision mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with hands-on testing, troubleshooting and performance verification.
• Familiarity with high-accuracy measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Bonus: prototyping, R&D environments, or small-batch manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to plan and execute complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Build precision components and subassemblies with a focus on accuracy, fit, and finish.
• Perform functional testing, alignment, and calibration of assembled systems to ensure performance meets strict specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or performance issues through root-cause analysis and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.
• Support prototype development and first-article builds; provide feedback to improve manufacturability, performance, and assembly methods.
• Inspect completed assemblies using precision instruments to verify tolerances and conformance.
• Continuously look for ways to improve assembly techniques, tools, and documentation for better efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and quality in all work areas.
