Job summary

SLB is seeking a hands-on assembler for in-person work at our Florence, KY office. The role requires assembling components across product lines, testing finished units, and troubleshooting issues. You will read blueprints, select proper tools, operate equipment, and ensure correct tolerances are met.

The position emphasizes PPE use, safe work practices, and accurate labor recording. It is a full-time on-site role located in Florence, KY with commuting requirements and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 0-2 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to wear required PPE along with respirator, impact resistant gloves and apron.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate with management and peers in a clear and professional manner.
• Efficient in basic computer skills: accessing and sending emails, completing online certifications and tests, etc.
• Proactively identify and resolve any issues or problems that could arise and/or the ability to direct said issue or problem to the appropriate team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Ensure ability to read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
