Job summary

RTX is seeking a grinder/operator in Burnsville, MN to operate grinding equipment and perform precision manufacturing tasks. You will maintain equipment, follow safety policies, and ensure products meet quality standards, with opportunities for audits and continuous improvement involvement. The role requires a high school diploma and preferably 1 year of relevant experience.

U.S. Person status is required for employment eligibility and the position is onsite with shift from 3:00pm to 1:30am plus

Qualifications

• Typically, a HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
• U.S. Person status is required for employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate grinding equipment and tools.
• Maintain proper care of manufacturing equipment.
• Follow all prescribed safety policies and testing.
• Use a microscope for many of your tasks throughout the day.
• Be responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
• Meet customer deadlines and expectations.
• Comply with applicable elements of quality systems.
• Partake in audits and cost-reduction/continuous improvement activities.
• Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
• Assemble parts according to blueprint specifications.
• Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
